Program Materials: The program materials consist of a leader’s guide with a series of 10 flexible meetings; each group selects a total of six. Ninety-minute meetings are held weekly for six weeks in community settings. Each meeting includes a welcome or warm-up activity, a food preparation and tasting experience, a group learning activity, a take-home challenge, and an opportunity to assess that meeting and plan for the next meeting. The take-home challenges from the previous week become the warm-up activities for the following week. Each meeting includes: learning objectives, an agenda, meeting preparation tips, guides to activities, background information, recipes, and templates for group activities.
